    • Actually, we spent the first few days here remarking on how quiet it is, given all the people, cars, etc. The scooters are electric, so they’re virtually silent. People tap their horns very politely to let you know they’re there, to make way. But generally speaking, there’s no shouting, and relatively little honking. Everyone’s remarkably patient, even when someone’s making a u-turn in a bad place, or stops traffic like our bus did when it was too tall to fit into a parking structure the other day.
